Bay Garnett is a British fashion stylist, editor, author, podcast host, creative director and photographer who has built a career led by her passion for sustainability.
Christened the ‘Queen of Thrift’, Bay pioneered the use of vintage and charity shop clothing in luxury shoots, bringing thrifting into the mainstream and promoting a more conscious approach to style. Today, her credentials in sustainability are more relevant than ever to the future of fashion. Her work has been featured on covers and in editorial in some of the most respected titles in the world including Vogue, Self Service, V Magazine and Esquire and she has dressed the likes of Kate Moss, Charlotte Rampling, Cindy Crawford and Stella Tennant.. Bay has been featured in titles including The Daily Telegraph, LOVE, Financial Times and Harper’s Bazaar.
Bay is the host of leading podcast This Old Thing? which sees her interview guests about their passion for sustainability in fashion. Guests include Chloe Sevigny, Rachel Weisz and Christina Ricci.
Bay currently holds the roles of Senior Fashion Advisor at Oxfam and Fashion Director-at-Large at Evening Standard Magazine.
